You’ve probably been staring at it for a year now. It’s on the to-do list, but it hasn’t gotten any closer to done.
It’s big. It’s heavy. It’s awkward to move. And honestly, trying to haul it out yourself is a good way to hurt your back – or worse.
Wouldn’t it be great to just have that space back?
Good news: it’s a lot easier than you think. We remove old hot tubs all the time for homeowners across Greenville, Spartanburg, and the rest of the Upstate. Here’s how we make the process quick, safe, and affordable.
To keep things quick (and keep your bill lower), it helps to disconnect the power and drain the water ahead of time. If that’s not something you’re comfortable doing yourself, no problem — we can handle it too.
Once it’s ready to go, snap a couple of photos of the hot tub and send them our way. That’s usually all we need to give you an upfront price and a plan for removal day.
In some cases, we’re able to move a hot tub out fully intact. But more often than not, we perform what we call a hot tub surgery — cutting it into four manageable sections with a reciprocating saw, then carrying the pieces straight to our trailer for hauling.
Before we leave, we sweep the area clean of any debris from the cut, so your yard or patio looks just as good as when we arrived.

Every yard and patio setup is a little different, so if you’ve got a hot tub (or anything else bulky and awkward) that needs to go, just send us a couple of photos and we’ll walk you through the next steps. Whether you’re in Greenville, Greer, Spartanburg, Anderson, Simpsonville, or anywhere else across the Upstate, In and Out Trash Services is ready to help.
